    The visit of 3 rooms immerses you in the heart of the cradle of this exceptional breed of cattle. The breeding of these animals no longer holds any secrets for you and you will understand that the quality of this meat is no coincidence!

    The geology, the hedges, the grass, the know-how of the breeders, are all factors which allow us to obtain an exceptional meat. You come out as an informed consumer with many tips for choosing and cooking Charolais.

    Farm visit of about 2 hours to meet the breeder.

    A breeder welcomes you and guides you through his farm. You perceive the reality of how a farm works in its environment. A real time of exchange between producer and consumer. The visit ends with a Charolais meat tasting at the farm!

    Familial visits

    Visit the discovery area in a different way! All family members participate! An opportunity to get together to share and experience moments together.

    Depending on the time of year, 3 family adventure courses will take you on a journey that will allow children to learn while having fun.

    Go and meet the cows!

    Your adventure bag is given to you at the reception desk, (you will then take it home) to go on a family trip across France. About fifteen games await you: games for 7 families, stomach flaps, crosswords, temperature reading, cow puzzle, touch boxes, films, coded message, blind tasting... To make sure you don't forget any of the discoveries, fill in your travel notebook.

    The end of the visit remains unexpected, nevertheless, know that until the end of the visit you and your children will be kept in suspense...

    Follow the spider's thread

    It seems that the witch of the House of Charolais has woken up! With your family, find something to feed her so that she can eat and sleep again for the rest of the year. This way, visitors will avoid being given Machiavellian spells. There are many objects to be found such as the witch's mirror, the bloody butcher's knife, spiders, the witch's pot. If you succeed in your mission, the witch invites you to her meal. (free witch's drink)

    From nursery school to BTS, a visit suitable for all ages! Do not hesitate to contact our school manager to design your personalised programme.

    The discovery area is composed of 3 rooms, allowing you to organise the visit in several groups. You will find many themes to work on.

    Room From grass to plate

    - Rumination of the cow, role of the 4 stomachs.

    - Different breeds of cattle in France.

    - What is meat? Why do we need to eat it? Where does it come from?

    - Vocabulary: calf, cow, bull, heifer, grazer.
